Local Seismic Isolation

Our innovative local seismic isolation solution has been developed to dissipate the earthquake energy that may affect non-structural elements at an event. Our product «Genshin Slider» has an isolation system that consists of two layers on top of each other and can take its old position after an earthquake.

Fuji Engineering as an EPC contractor, designs, manufactures, provides, installs, and tests local seismic isolation systems according to the clients’ needs.

Mechanism of Genshin Slider

Sliding friction of the special sheet reduces the shake occurred by earthquake. Genshin Slider’s original elastic rubber belt, absorbs impulsive force and makes smaller residual displacement. Natural period of elastic rubber belt is set over 3 seconds and it protects against the possibility of resonance with the prominent cycle of earthquake (0.2-2 seconds)
