About Chodai Corporation
In 1968, "Long Span Bridge Design Center", the predecessor of CHODAI Co., Ltd., was established by 13 engineers, aiming to be one of the top consulting firms in bridge engineering, giving its first priority to technological capability. In 1970, CHODAI was awarded its first big project, Great Seto Bridge. Since that project, CHODAI has been participating in lots of long span bridge projects (in planning, design, construction supervision, construction management, rehabilitation and maintenance) with the latest technologies, and pioneering new fields such as BMS (Bridge Management System) etc. CHODAI remains as one of premier bridge engineering firms, with remarkable records of long span bridges worldwide.
